Woo!!! I made it to Friday. It’s been a hellaciously busy week and I am so pleased to see Friday arrive. Of course I’ll be running around like a chicken with my head cut off tonight as I get ready to drive to the beach in the morning. In tragic news for dog-lovers everywhere, one of the most famous and best-loved dogs in the UK, Wellard from BBC One's EastEnders, is to retire from the show. It has been announced that viewers will see Wellard killed off later this year. The Belgium shepherd, a bitch called Kyte, has featured in the soap for 14 years.
