After the majority of 1000 protesters scattered, police surrounded about 200 people, including AP reporters Amy Forliti and Jon Krawczynski and reporters from other news outlets. Officers ordered them to sit on the pavement on a bridge over Interstate 94 and to keep their hands over their heads as they were led away two at a time.

The setting was a little more peaceful when the host sat down with the Democratic presidential candidate Thursday, but O'Reilly was his good old fashioned bullying self.

Bill O'Reilly finally got his interview with Barack Obama but his real challenge was how to use it to make John McCain look good right before his acceptance speech. Tonight before viewers could see the first seven minute segment of the interview, they were forced to watch forty minutes of Palin worship plus partisan insights and distortions from Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich and Megyn Kelly.
